Weight Loss Goal - Tips, Diet and Supplements

Weight loss is a balancing game, picture a scale without any weight either side, it balances, but the moment you put anything on either side that side moves down. Weight loss and weight gain can be as simple as that; put food on one side and don't balance that up with enough calories burnt on the other and you will start putting on weight, put more calories burnt on the other side and its starts to balance out, burn even more calories and the scales tip into weight loss.

Setting weight loss goals

One of the most important motivating factors in trying to lose weight is to set weigh loss goals. Set a desired weight or body fat percentage to aim for and work out a time frame you want to lose this weight in. For example, if you wanted to lose a stone which is around 14lbs you need to work out how many calories you need to burn or remove from your diet to achieve this. There are 3,500 calories in a pound of fat and as we said there is around 14lbs in a stone so that's 14 x 3,500 = 49,000 calories. This seems a lot of calories to burn to lose weight but these are the facts. So it makes sense to break this down into goals.

You could start by trying to lose a lb a week, as there are 3500 calories in a lb of fat, this then means that you need to reduce you calorie intake by 500 calories a day to meet this goal or you could do extra exercise that burns these calories. Stick to this and in 14 weeks you will have lost a stone.

Getting extra motivation:

The above is a simple case of maths; there is a set amount of calories in lb of fat, and you need to eat less or burn that amount to get rid of it, simple isn't it?

Well for some it's easier than others, as there are a number of factors that make it easier or harder for people to stick to this specific weight loss plan.

Tips to help you stick to the weight loss goal you have set yourself:

Get a before photo done:

To really visualise the weight loss process month by month and witness how your body improves, it is a good idea to have a before picture taken. This is the picture of you before you go on your fat fighting diet. You can look at this and say to yourself every day; I never want to go back to being like that again. This is your encouragement and a way to motivate yourself.

Getting the energy to exercise:

To exercise and stick to a weight loss plan takes energy, you need the energy to move and burn off the fat. The Pro-10 Ultra Lean weight loss supplement will help remove those extra Ibs with the help of a controlled calorie diet. It is recommended to be taken first thing in the morning and before exercising, for a great energy kick.

Helping to stave of hunger:

Hunger is one of the main reasons people fail to stick to their goals, hunger is a diet nightmare but luckily for you there are some ways of controlling hunger. The Pro-10 Calcium Caseinate supplement is a formulated protein powder which sits in the stomach for longer and also has a longer period of time to digest, therefore keeping the body feeling fuller for longer. This is an ideal supplement to help you with your weight loss and ultimately achieve your goal.

Sticking to a low GI weight loss diet:

The glycaemic index is the index in which foods are graded based on the speed in which they are digested and glucose is extracted from them, the higher the GI the faster the glucose will be in your veins. Too much glucose at any one time can cause an insulin spike, when this stops, insulin levels drop and you get a signal sent to the brain saying you are hungry. If you stick to eating low GI foods you will help stop this from happening and therefore will keep you feeling fuller longer.

Adding more protein to the diet:

Protein is one of the slowest digesting foods as a whole (though this varies from protein to protein), Casein Caseinate and soya protein are a great mix for a filling shake as soya is a medium digesting protein and Casein is a slow digesting protein, therefore a shake made of a mix of these two proteins can be used to keep hunger at bay when you are looking to lose weight.

Using CLA to help lose belly fat and cellulite:

CLA (Conjugated linoleic acid) is a fatty acid found in the meat of animals that eat grass and shrubs. It has been shown to help reduce body fat especially round the belly and the buttock area; it has also been shown to reduce cellulite.
