There is sometimes confusion over the true benefits of fat burners such as Pro-10.com’s Ultralean. In this article we break down the ingredients of Ultralean diet tablets to show what each ingredient does.
The Pro-10.com Fat Burner Ultralean has the following active ingredients that work in collaboration to offer you a great weight loss tool.
Garcinia cambogia
Commonly known as Gambooge this small pumpkin shaped fruit is native to Indonesia. Its peel contains Hydroxycitric Acid which has shown to significantly reduce the amount of abdominal fat of people in a double blind trial vs a placebo¹.
Citrus aurantium
Citrus aurantium also known as bitter orange comes from the peel of Seville oranges and has been used as a safe replacement for Ephedra (similar to ephedrine, a known fat burning stimulant) in diet tablets for a while, due mainly to its similar structure and thermogenic properties. In double blind trials Citrus Autrantium significantly reduced the body fat of those taking it when compared with the placebo group². A trial looking into how effective ephedra replacements are found that “Citrus aurantium may be the best thermogenic substitute for ephedra”³.

Gymnema sylvestre
Gymnema sylvestre has been used as a natural aid for people with diabetes for thousands of years due to its ability to lower blood sugar levels when taken over a sustained period of time ¹¹. It also has an effect on the taste receptors making sweet items taste less sweet, helping lower and stop sweet cravings²²; this is ideal for anyone looking to lose weight.
Taraxicum officinale
Taraxicum officinale aka dandelion aka pissenlit (piss the bed) is an amazing herb that helps the body detox. It cleans the liver, which gets rid of toxins and used hormones, and it helps the skin. Dandelion also helps the body to get rid of excess water as it is a diuretic. Hence the comical french name of pissenlit (piss the bed).

L-Tyrosine
L-tyrosine is an amino acid that is classed as nonessential as it can be synthesised from phenylalanine. Phenylanine is an essential amino acid as it cannot be synthesised by the body and therefore an adequate dietary supply of phenylalanine is required for the synthesis of L-Tyrosine.
L-Tyrosine is one of the ingredients the brain can use to create the neurotransmitters Epinephrine, Dopamine and nor-epinephrine from. These neurotransmitters help your mood³³ and stress levels. Stress can be a major cause of over eating.

Green Tea extract:
Green tea has been very popular recently for its strong antioxidant content, but some people find it quite bitter and therefore opt for the capsule variety. Green tea not only has high levels of Antioxidants but also has been seen to increase fat oxidisation and therefore is beneficial in weight loss¹¹¹. So not only a great way to get some of those beneficial antioxidants but also to help lose weight.

Grapefruit extract
Grapefruits are great as they are relatively low calorie, high in vitamin C, and if you like the sharpness they taste great. But the extract has also been shown to help people lose weight ²²². Grapefruit extract was shown to lower blood lipid levels in tests and “the extract also induced significant weight loss in the treated rats in the latter 15 days of their treatment.”

Coleus forskohlii aka Plectranthus barbatus
Coleus Forskohlii is an averdic herb which is part of the mint family. Coleus Forskohli has been used in herbal medicine for centuries as a treatment for heart conditions and hypertension, but in recent years studies have shown that Coleus Forskohli has “fat burning” qualities¹¹¹¹.
Chromium Picolinate
Chromium Picolinate has been shown to help to reduce cravings for carbohydrate rich foods and has been shown to regulate appetite in study participents¹².
